I found a genealogy gem today at a garage sale for $1.00:

This publication has over 1,000 individual surnames indexed. Each biography is quite lengthy and contains a picture. The book is in great shape.

I don't have any intentions of selling the book but I will start a project of creating a digital index. I will make the index available when it's completed.

The encyclopedia includes the names of more than 20,000 native and adopted citizens of the United States, including people. There were also the names of thousands of citizens of all other countries of North and South.
